Distillery Lehmann

Located in Obernai, a city of character at the heart of a land of Excellence, the LEHMANN Distillery is the oldest distillery in Alsace, with over 170 years of history. Its know-how has been passed down through five generations. In the early 2000s, Yves LEHMANN was one of the first to produce whisky in France. In 2012, the distillery was awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV) label, recognizing the excellence of its know-how. Today, Distillerie LEHMANN has been producing a wide range of spirits for over 30 years, regularly winning awards at the Concours Général Agricole de Paris. The Distillery is open Monday to Saturday, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Guided tour of the Distillery - on reservation The LEHMANN Distillery team opens its doors to you for a guided tour lasting around 1h30. From behind the scenes of the distillery to the different stages in the production of our spirits, right up to the tasting of our products, enter into the history and know-how of the company. This guided tour, led by a member of the distillery staff, is designed to be a moment of transmission and discovery. Program: - Welcome and presentation of the distillery - Discovery of the production stages: fermentation vats, still room and ageing cellar - Tasting and discovery of our products: Alsatian and French whiskies, eaux-de-vie, gin, liqueurs, ratafia and vodka.
