The town of Obernai welcomes you to the Château de la Léonardsau, a listed historic monument that has recently been meticulously and painstakingly restored by passionate craftsmen. Built in the early 20th century by Baron Albert de Dietrich, this jewel of Alsatian heritage has now been restored to its former glory. Throughout your visit, interactive trilingual devices – digital tables, podcast listening stations – immerse you in the fascinating history of the estate: the construction of the château, the layout of its grounds, the life of Baron de Dietrich, and the filming of the 1971 movie La Décade prodigieuse, which was shot on location. On the ground floor, explanations accompany the discovery of each room and its original function. Upstairs, a welcoming library invites you to take a break and browse through books dedicated to Alsace, the Léonardsau estate and regional artists. Finally, on the top floor, the digital gallery with Micro-Folie offers a unique immersion in the masterpieces of the world's greatest museums.
