Since 1998, the association “Les Plus Beaux Détours de France” (France’s Most Beautiful Detours) has listed medium-sized towns renowned for their exceptional heritage, high-quality environment, and visitor facilities open all year round. Today, Obernai is one of the 100 municipalities in this network.
